1.1. PURPOSE OF POLICY. Land8 Media, http://www.land8media.com (“Land8”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its customers, visitors, and other users of the Land8 Website (the “Site”). We created this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Site, and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy. 2.1. WHAT BASIC INFORMATION DOES LAND8 COLLECT?
Land8 (http://www.land8media.com) collects different information from our users in several areas of the website:
(a) PERSONAL INFORMATION So that you may access services and purchase the products and services that we offer through the Site, we require you to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you (”Personal Information”). The Personal Information we may collect includes the following information: (1) your name, (2) address, (3) birth year, (4) telephone number, (5) fax number, (6) e-mail address, (7) User ID, as selected by you (8) Site password, as selected by you, (9) lost password reminder question, as selected by you (10) answer to lost password reminder question. If you communicate with us by e-mail or complete online forms or surveys, information provided by you in such communications may also be collected as Personal Information.
2.2. WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DOES LAND8 COLLECT?
(a) TRAFFIC DATA When you visit our Site, we automatically track and collect the following categories of information: (1) your Internet protocol and domain server address; (2) the date and time of your visit to the Site; (3) the type of web browser and operating system you used to access the Site; (4) the web pages that you accessed at the Site; (collectively “Traffic Data”). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not identify or track you personally. We use Traffic Data to evaluate and improve the content of the Site and to make the Site more useful to visitors. We also use it to diagnose problems with our server, to keep our server running smoothly, and to monitor the number of visitors to the Site and the type of technology they use. Land8 uses “temporary session cookies” to authenticate users and maintain the functionality of other online services. With the exception of your Land8 account number, these “temporary cookies” contain no information that could personally identify you, and they exist only for the session in which you visit the Site and are not stored. You can refuse to accept the cookie or delete it from your computer by using any of the widely available methods, but if you do so, you may be unable to purchase products and services from Land8 online or otherwise access some of the interactive features of the Site
3. NOTICE CONCERNING CHILDREN
PLEASE NOTE: We are a general audience site, and do not direct any of our content specifically at children under 18 years of age. We understand and are committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children’s privacy online. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a Site user is under age 13, we will promptly delete any personal information in that user’s account.
4. USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION
4.1. WHAT DOES LAND8 DO WITH COLLECTED INFORMATION?
(a) PERSONAL INFORMATION. We will not share your personal information with any third parties without your consent, except as necessary to provide you with the services offered by us or to comply with the law. In order to accommodate changes in our business, we may sell or buy portions of our company or other companies or assets, including the information collected through this Web site. If Land8 or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the assets transferred to the acquirer.
(f) ACCESS TO INFORMATION. Unfortunately, we do not maintain any procedures for you to review or request changes to the information that we collect about you, except that you may request that we remove all information about you from our database by contacting us in accordance with Section 6.1 below.

The Site has security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss, misuse, to you or to any third party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration.

The Site may include interactive forums such as comment areas. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

If you choose to visit other websites, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those other websites, and it is your responsibility to review the privacy policies at those websites to confirm that you understand and agree with their policies.
